After a long period of interruption, Sailing has been able to recommence this term with a series of regattas held in NSW and the ACT. Whilst restrictions have remained in place along with School and Club protocols, and with a relatively short Term 1 schedule, timing of regattas has been somewhat problematic. However – we have seen the following regattas taking place:
ACT States – Canberra 27/28 February
Pittwater Regatta – RPAYC 5 / 6 March
Middle Harbour SheSails 13 March
This term, the host schools of two regular regattas have combined to host the 2021 Sydney Harbour Regatta this Saturday out of RSYS which has seen a great turn out with 14 teams registered from 9 schools (refer separate posting). Finally, and further to separate email advice already sent to schools and clubs, we can confirm the scheduling of the 2021 NSW Secondary Schools Teams Racing Championships to be held at RSYS on the 29 April to the 2 May (refer separate post). Thanks all for your continued support of NSWTSA and look forward to participation in the regattas ahead.
